lots and lots of tamales!

this is great for an all night cooking night and a microwave snack

ingredients:
masa
corn husks
and any thing you prefer with a tamale

first, we soaked the corn husks for 2 hours. then we wiped, dry and striped the corn husk into thin strips and left some to boil with. after that we used spreader to spread the masa on the non-striped husks, and put what vegetables we like in the un cooked tamale. finally we folded the insides, and the outsides and steamed them for 2 hours and make sure that the steamer doesn't boil dry . great you are getting to be a good cook.

bring on the potato sides!

this is a great fresh and fancy dinner for friends over at the house. gose (enjoy in spanish)

ingredients:
3 sm. white potatoes thinly sliced
1 lg. jalapeno seeded, diced

put in everything except the potatoes in a pan and saute a little while.
(3-4 min.)
add the potatoes- a single layer on the pan
